Introduction
This website was designed and developed for Brainwave, a home tutoring service in Accra, to help them reach more parents online, showcase their unique teaching approach, and simplify the process of booking personalized tutoring sessions. The goal was to create a warm, trustworthy, and mobile-friendly platform that reflects the care and support they offer to children aged 4–10.
The Problem
Brainwave, a new home tutoring service in Accra, had no online presence to help parents discover their offerings, understand their approach, or easily book sessions. They needed a simple, professional website to build trust and make getting started as easy as possible for busy parents.
My Design Apprach
The design approach for Brainwave focused on clarity, warmth, and trust. I crafted a child-friendly yet professional interface that speaks to parents looking for reliable home tutoring in Accra.
I prioritized a clean, spacious layout with soft colors, rounded elements, and gentle motion to reflect Brainwave’s nurturing teaching style. The user journey was simplified into a 4-step process, guiding users from initial interest to booking a session.
Typography was chosen for readability and friendliness, while imagery and copy emphasized personalized learning, comfort, and parental peace of mind. Accessibility and responsiveness were central ensuring the site works smoothly across devices.
SEO settings, privacy policy, and metadata were also implemented to support visibility and trust as the brand grows.
